I have something that I am very excited to tell you about. First let me address a question that I am sure many of you are now thinking. (A few of you already know the answer.) Why is American PC sending me information about what appears to be another service provider? I’m so glad you asked.
First, the back story. American PC has been servicing businesses and home users alike since 2001, and currently employs a staff of nine people with over 35 years of combined experience in the IT field. Over these years our company has been blessed and has seen growth in both the business and residential service areas. This growth created a challenge in that each area created its own unique needs and thus required unique processes. For the last year and a half or so, these challenges began to weigh more heavily on the administrative and financial aspects of the company.
As 2008 drew to a close, Tim Flynn and I began to examine our options for improving our operations. We carefully examined employee utilization. We looked at the individual needs of these divisions. We explored the financial risks/opportunities created by each division. We sought wisdom and advice from those we respect. We finally came to the conclusion that there was only one solution that satisfied all of the challenges we were facing.
In December of 2008 we began preparations to launch a new company. This new company would take on all of the responsibilities of serving our business clients, while American PC Solutions would continue to serve the needs of our residential customers. It took a few months to get everything in place. On March 9th, 2009, ClearPath IT Solutions, LLC was organized in Illinois.
The primary goal of ClearPath IT Solutions is to provide the responsiveness and service of an internal IT staff to small businesses. We aim to take enterprise technology and processes and distill them down for small businesses, making them attainable both financially and technologically. In a nutshell, we provide a collection of IT services designed to minimize the risks that are associated with the IT infrastructure of your company’s network. These services include server/desktop support, emergency network support, proactive maintenance, regular business continuity assessments, and network infrastructure consulting.
