Hi there happy computer users. Hope all is well in your computing world. If not, there are several reasons this could be. The predominate reason now-a-days is adware and spyware. Adware and Spyware are little programs and browser plugins that get installed while browsing the internet. The problems these programs create range from nothing to making your computer no longer log onto Windows. Typically though they will cause massive amounts of popups. Unfortunately, there is currently NO way to completely stop adware/spyware from entering your computer.
The way to help counteract these pesky programs is to install and run Ad-Aware. Ad-Aware can be downloaded from www.download.com. After installing the program, it will update itself. The program will run itself after updating and installation. Select any and all objects it finds and remove them by hitting "Next" in the the bottom right.
I recommend running the program (the icon for which is on your desktop now) once per week and removing anything it finds. This will help keep your computer operating smooth and sweet.
